Dress Code
Our goal is to help students and parents be informed and understand the minimal requirements listed in the PRHS Dress and Grooming Code. These requirements will help to foster and encourage our students to focus on their educational process, learning, and academic progress without distractions that are caused by unsuitable dress and grooming. With parents and guardians’ guidance, support, and cooperation it is important that students arrive at school with grooming and attire that reflects the modesty of good taste expected at Palmetto Ridge High. Knowing “what to wear and when to wear it” means having good and modest taste in clothing attire worn by our high school students.
Student Identification
- To enhance student safety, all students shall wear a current, school-issued photo identification (ID) badge from the school in which they are currently enrolled. The ID badge shall be displayed on the student’s person, in plain sight, at all times during the school day. ID badges shall not be altered, defaced, or destroyed. Students shall not wear, use, share, or possess the ID badge of another student, nor allow their own ID badge to be worn or used by another person. Lanyards shall not display another school’s name or logo within the district, other than the student’s assigned school.
- To enter the school campus all students are required to have a current SY 2026-2027 school identification. PRHS school issued SY 2026-2027 identification badge must be visible in plain sight in front of a student’s person throughout the entire school day. A student must wear their student ID lanyard around their neck or clipped to the top part of their outermost garment. A student ID tied to a backpack, computer bag, purse, in their pockets, behind their back, or any other accessory is not allowed.
