Graduation Information
Graduating Seniors and Parents/Guardians:
Graduation is on Thursday, May 21, 2026, in the Palmetto Ridge HS gymnasium. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. and guests can begin entering the gymnasium at 4:00 p.m. All graduates will meet in the Auditorium and must be there no later than 3:30 p.m.
REHEARSALS: All graduating seniors must attend all meetings and rehearsals and be on time!
- Rehearsal #1 is on Tuesday, May 19th, from 7:30 a.m.– 10:00 a.m., in the gymnasium.
- Rehearsal #2 is on Wednesday, May 2oth, from 7:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
- Tickets will be given to Seniors once they have been cleared of all fines, equipment, and obligations.
Fines – Any senior who has outstanding obligations to Palmetto Ridge High School (lost or damaged textbooks, technology, unreturned library books or fines, athletic uniforms, etc.) must pay them in full. Seniors with unpaid fines will not receive tickets for graduation.
Laptops – Seniors must return laptop and charger prior to receiving tickets to graduation. These can be returned after your last final exam or prior to the final rehearsal.
Graduation Pictures – There will be a photographer at the ceremony taking pictures of graduates on stage, receiving their diploma. You will receive information from Cady with further information and details on purchasing photos.
Tickets – Each Senior (who has been cleared of any obligation to Palmetto Ridge High School and has returned their laptop and charger) will receive 5 tickets for seating in the gymnasium.
Collier County Public Schools is broadcasting this Commencement Ceremony Live, accessible on the district website, www.collierschools.com/graduation. Cameras will be positioned to capture this special event, including close-ups of graduates receiving their diplomas. The ceremony will be recorded and available to view by the end of the following week.
Guest Information - Graduation is a formal celebration. Shouting, whistling and other loud noises detract from the significance of the occasion and diminish the respect our graduates deserve. Students’ names are only read one at a time so respect all parents and guests who desire to hear their child’s name called, during the ceremony. The doors will open at 4:00 p.m. and close promptly at 5:30 p.m. Please do not bring balloons, confetti or air horns. If a family member or guest requires ADA or special seating at graduation, please call Janett Hampton at 239-377-2403.
Graduate Attire (Recommended)– Males: Dark colored slacks, white collared shirts; Females: Dresses or pant suits; All students: Appropriate shoes – no flipflops, slippers, etc.
Project Graduation – May 22, 2026 - at YMCA. Tickets cost $20.00 until the last week of exams then the price goes up to $25. Sale dates will be announced to students.

As we approach the commencement season, we would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to those families with graduating seniors in the Class of 2026! The hard work and dedication they have put into their educational pursuits should be both recognized and celebrated.
While this is a time to make lasting memories, we want to ensure students are continuing to make the right choices and enjoying the fruits of their hard work responsibly.
Please take the time to review the following expectations, as outlined in the Code of Student Conduct, and discuss them with your students. It is of the utmost importance that our students and campuses remain safe during this celebratory time for our graduates and their families.
Students are not permitted on school grounds and/or in school buildings before or after school hours without authorization or the supervision of an adult in authority. Students who trespass, unlawfully enter, and/or engage in any form of vandalism or attempted vandalism of school property will be suspended from school and referred to proper legal authorities for possible arrest and prosecution. Students who are suspended, expelled, or in an alternative placement for any rule violation are not permitted on any school property, nor are they allowed to participate in any school function for the duration of the suspension, expulsion, or alternative placement.
Seniors are warned that a suspension during the final days of the school year may result in the forfeiture of senior privileges including participation in commencement exercises.
As always, our goal is to ensure that our students are safe and make good choices. However, we think it is important that everyone is aware of the serious consequences that can arise if students make poor decisions during this exciting time in their lives.
